Natural Calm Balm For Dogs & Horses is a natural, calming and relaxing balm to help soothe and settle your dog and horses that is not to be applied directly onto your pet but onto their bedding or other familiar items in their environment. It is often used to calm, help relax, to lessen anxiety, stress, fear and trauma.
This calm balm is used by gently wiping a little balm onto the top edge of your dogs bed, a toy or blanket. With horses it is often applied to the top of the stalls and bedding.
The dog or horse can gently inhale the aromatherapy oils without them being too intense which could be unsettling rather than restful and allows your pet to create the suitable distance they feel comfortable with the calm balm. The blend of oils in the calm balm is much more subtle than we would use for ourselves as the olfactory receptors in dogs and horses noses are much more sensitive than ours. I also only use dog and horse safe essential oils in my blends.
You can also simply open the tin and allow your pet to smell the tin or add some to your hand and allow the dog or horse to smell it.
Handmade in small batches using ‘dog safe’ natural plant oils including sweet almond oil, olive oil, castor oil plus beeswax and vitamin e, with a subtle calming blend of chamomile, lavender, geranium and mandarin essential oils.
Natural, cruelty free, no parabens or sulphates. All packaging is plastic free and eco friendly.
INSTRUCTIONS: Not for direct use. Gently wipe a small amount of the calm balm to bedding and/or other familiar items in your pet’s environment.
